Start a business in Poland with BRJ
We’ll help you register as a sole trader, open a business account with mBank and keep your books from the very first day.
How it works
First conversation
We talk through your business idea, the type of activity and the tax set-up that will work best for you.
CEIDG registration
We put your details in order and go through the application for entry in CEIDG - the Polish register of sole traders - together with you.
Business account
We help you open a business account with mBank and check the terms available to you.
Accounting from day one
We agree the scope of our work, your registrations with ZUS and the tax office, and what you need to do in the first few months.
What you’ll need
The CEIDG application asks for a few basic details. We’ll fill in the rest together when we meet.
- Personal details and your PESEL (Polish personal identification number)
- Home address and business address
- A description of your activity - we’ll match it to PKD codes, the Polish classification of business activities
- Your planned start date
- Your preferred tax set-up
- Phone number and email address
Business account with mBank
We work with mBank and the OSCBR network. Offers for new businesses change from time to time, so before you open an account we’ll check with you what is currently available through our office.
Any benefits depend on meeting the terms of the promotion, including how the application is submitted.
Support in the early months
Beyond registration, we help with the issues that come up in the first months of running a business.
- Business plan
- Financial advice
- EU grant documentation
- Paperwork for banks and public offices
- Cash registers, leasing and insurance
- Health and safety (BHP) training through partners
Already running a business?
We’ll take over your books from your current accountant - see how switching works.
